Industry 2020 is an event that takes a leap in time and examines the different aspects of the industry of tomorrow.
In practise
This area proposes a presentation of R&D projects applied to production and process technology for industry. This event highlights projects that are currently under development in technical centres, competitiveness centres, the Institut Carnot, public and/or private industry laboratories.

This year INDUSTRIE 2020 will focus on 3 key domains of tomorrow's industry.
Collaborative robotics (in collaboration with Cetim and Symop):
- ABB: workstation in a semi closed box
- Yaskawa: working robot in an open space
- Cermex & Fanuc: pallet loading / unloading station
- Institut Carnot CEA List : interactive robotics
- RB3D: "cobot" mechatronic arm used for painstaking industrial tasks
Surface treatments
Institut Carnot Cirimat (inter university research centre for engineering and materials): the latest evolutions in surface treatments, especially for stainless steels and aeronautical applications.
Laser cutting
Discover IMPULSION. Thanks to new technology and in particular the femtosecond laser, this company manufactures micro-parts such as stents for heart implants.
